Ok I need to blow off some steam, I have a 2008 F150 FX4 Screw that has only 7,000 miles on it, that I bought brand new. I love the truck but its beginning to have alot of problems and falling apart. Heres a list of the problems that I am having with my truck:
1. The driver's side window will not go up.
2. The radio display is sometimes unreadable, looks like someone punched it.
3. The driver's seat is making an annoying creeking sound when you hit bumps.
4. The Ford OEM nerf bars are rusting and piting.
5. Oh the hubs just started to grind while I was on my way to work today!
6. I have a annoying rattle in the dash on the passenger side of the truck.

I had a 2004 F150 FX4 Scab that was the same, but I never had any problems with that truck. Matter of fact my buddy bought the truck from me and still drives it and hasnt had any problems with it.

Yeah I know Ford is going to fix these thing on warranty, but it just p***es me off that I have to get my truck worked on already. The worst thing is that I live in Hawaii where everbody drives toyotas and nissans, and I now have to here my cooworkers talk sh*t. At least my friend is nice enough to let me use his truck, unfortunatly its a nissan.

 

Just luck of the draw...some good ones some bads one...

the steps are a result of poor maintenance, anything chrome will pit and rust if not taken care of.

 

and since it rains in HI almost daily, you have more suspect to rust. Being the high humidity, salt air and such. Lived there for 3 years though and loved it.

 

Thats we have warranties...
