2004 ford f150 5.4triton have a code p0022 have replaced cam phasers vct silanoids and both cam sensors still have the p0022 code any ideas

 

Did you reset the CEL after installing the new parts?

 

yes and it still runing ruf and the code came back

 

have you tried having a flash done on the computer. i had something similar happen to my trailblazer and they flashed the computer and all was well....tried the negative battery cable off and it didnt work but when they flashed the computer it took care of it all....made the damn thing run a ton better too....the guy told me that sometimes the computers "learn" the wrong things
