Default Any aftermarket plug horror stories?

After running lean for a month, I'm sure my plugs could use a change. I've only changed 'em once, and I went with OEM because I had heard that our generation of trucks tend to not agree with non-Ford plugs. Just curious, is this just die-hard Ford talk? Which plugs have people had issue with after installing?

For the longest time, Autolite's were the same. Seems to not be the case anymore. The new OEM plugs have an upgraded design to reduce the chance of breaking upon removal. I don't think it's just Ford fanboy's, as FordTechMakuloco has made vids on this updated plug.

Ooooh, so was all that talk against aftermarket plugs stemming from the cylinder head/broken plug thing? So engines without those heads are pretty safe to try NGKs or Bosch plugs?
