Another Tire/Wheel Question
Still looking and trying to research tires and wheels for my '05 FX4 Supercrew...it is 100 percent stock right now.
I have come to understand more about offset and backspacing, so that is helping, but now I am trying to find the right tire. I saw some LT275 70R18's on a truck in the parking lot at the ball park the other night and really liked the looks of them. My question is, will these fit okay without rubbing? I would think they should, but am not sure. Could I go bigger without rubbing if I put on a 8.5 or 9-inch wheel?
I am trying to stay stock and spend as little as I can. Also looking for a good aggressive tire that will not cost me an arm and a leg - open to suggestions. Looking pretty hard at Kumho, but am open to advice.

check out the bfg at ko's. they have 275/70R18s available. they last a long time too from what i have read. you can fit these fine with factory wheels and no suspension mods.
with a leveling kit/shocks you can step up to 295/70R18s which is about 1.5 inches bigger than the 275/70s. Nitto makes trail grapplers in this size. they are more aggressive and look better than the bfg's IMO.
leveling spacers are cheap and make the trucks look much better. i would recommend going that route. hell bent steel and autospring are two popular spacer companies.
hope this helps. good luck with the truck.
