Default another exhaust thread lol..

i bought my truck last august from Fariway auto and it came with exhause set up already. i believe it is a flowmaster 40. it had dual turndowns and it sounded pretty good. then i decided to run pipes after the muffler to the side infront of the passenger side to two 3" tips. it seems like it lost A LOT of sound. it surprised me how quiet it is now.

my question is, would it help more with sound to get high flow cats, or a new muffler? thinking about the super 44, and if i go with cats, obviously the magnaflow.

If you purely want it to be loud just get true duel straight pipes from the headers back with a hi-flow cat on each and some big tips to make it deeper

Don't want to spend the money on true duals, and I don't want it THAT loud. I did that on my ram. I want to keep my cats and muffler on.

I got true duals on mine after the cats ofcourse which is basically the same thing and it sounds great and it honestly wasn't that expensive only $450 at my local shop.
