I've got an 08 f150, I've had 3 sets of cats stolen here in KC and I'm losing my mind. The first set were stock, no protection one month after buying my f150, a 4.6 4x4 btw. Second set I bought cat straps and the cat clamp, nothin doin, they sawed through it like butter, third set had mechanic weld the GD cats to the frame, wrapped them in barb wire and chain, guess what? Gone. I've now exceeded the price of my Ford in cat replacements. This is all within a YEAR. From the threads I've read, I cannot ascertain which side is correct. Some guys say that you've got to run cats and they mention the legal ramifications and all that, just know here, I do not give a F about that. And I'm not going to sell this in the future. So I only want responses that will help me figure out a way to turn my truck into a SAFE (for my trucks engine) Catless setup, whatever I gotta do (chips, etc) please and thank you very much.
