Default Another 6.2 conversion question.

Hello in new here, I have a question I can't seem to get answered by my own research. My 5.4 3v has finally succumbed to thrashed phasers and it has caused some damage. My mechanic is recommending a new Engine from Ford that was re manufactured by Ford. It seems there's only a $200 difference between the 5.4 direct replacement and the 6.2 for complete engine assembly. If I got the reman'd 5.4 I would still have the cam phasers locked and a tune to get it to not have a hissy fit because the phasers are locked. My question is what all for electronics would need to be swapped? Could my current ecm just be flashed to run the 6.2? New wiring harness? So basically I think it will bolt right up but making it run is another story, so what does that take? Has anyone pulled this off? If it's not a huge amount of work I'd love to have the extra horsepower!

The short answer is, if you want a truck with a 6.2 in it, sell yours and buy one. Nobody here has done the conversion that we've seen.
