Default Another 4x4 question

2004 ford fx4, passenger side hub won't engage into 4 wheel drive. When you flip the switch to go into 4wheel high the light comes on and you can hear it engage the drivers side, but not the passenger side. transfer case, differential, and vacuum all seem to be good. Do I need to have the hub replaced. I have also heard alot about a IWE sileniod causing problems, but like i said there is vacuum pressure at the hub, it just won't release. Thanks

Allright no need to be a dick KIFELS. Yes I believe it is your hub the same thing happened on my 05 however it was the drivers side. Get it fixed and once a week just flip your truck into 4x4 for 50 feet just so it gets used regularly. And yeah you couldve used the Search function just for future reference. Good luck and Happy Fordin!!
