annoying problem
well my truck had a miss a while back an it got real bad and finally threw a code so I plugged my code reader in and it said cylinder 6 so I put a new coil in and it was fine for a couple days. now it's missing again not reall bad but it's only around 1100 to 1300 rpms when I'm just cruisin. I can also feel it around 70 when I got cruise control on but it's a real light miss. now it won't throw another code. the truck only has 55k miles so I wouldn't think it would be the plugs? what y'all think
My 07 was the #6 and #8 plugs at about 55000 to 60000 miles no codes, just a bad mis and shudder at hard acceleration when she was cold. Sounded like a can of marbles coming out of the exhaust. Ford said it was the tranny twice, reprgrammed the tranny 3 times. I took the tech for a drive, oh that's the tranny, Did it a second time well that could be a misfire, and a third, you are gonna mess up your engine, we will check for cats and plugs. Cost damn near $800 for the COPs and plugs and labor. 2500 miles later cats throw a code, exhaust system warrenty work thank god.

If you do change them yourself. Familiarize your self with the plug problems on the 04 -07s. That's why mine was expensive. I normally do it my self, but didn't want to chance breaking a plug or 8.
