Default Amp on Wall

Hey guys I am trying to put my amp on the rear wall of my super crew lariat and I want to know if I did it right or whatever? I am not sure but I think it is better if I put a board under it or some rubber o-rings under eac screw? What do you guys think?

I put mine on some 1/2" MDF. Also do zip tie and secure your cables as well.

I also glued some MDF to the wall and screwed into that.

I put the stock carpet back over it so you can't see it.

I always wondered how well it would be to install an amp on the rear wall behind rthe seats. Wouldn't it need air circulation to prevent overheating?

If you screw thro your cab put some silicone on the screws and it will be water tight.

Would putting a rubber mat or rubber gaskets under the screws work too? I read somewhere else that mounting the amp straight down to the medal works a second ground?
