Hey guys, this weekend I am getting my whole system setup. Subs, amp, box, etc... I am wanting to know the best place to put the amp at. I can't fit it under the seat because the box is going to be there. I have seen some people put it on the rear wall of the cab. But I feel if I put it there, it will be a pain if I ever need to work on it. What is the best place for it all?

 

If you have the crew cab, and the box doesn't take all of the back seat, just half of so, what people have done is removed the factory jack and put the amp there.

 

I put one under the drivers seat and one under the jump seat (between the two front seats). Mine were pretty small in form factor, tho. (Alpine PDX)

 

Mines on the back wall. I just left the back of the seat off until I felt like I had the amp tuned how I wanted it and I've never really needed to change it. I can tweak a lot from my head unit too and it only takes a few minutes to take the back of the seat off.
