Default Alternate tire sizes

Is there an alternate size, One that results in a cheaper price? Stock size has limited availability, alternate sizes have much more to choose from. Not being cheap, but looking for a better deal and tread patterns to choose from.

What seems to be the most popular alternate size?

Really depends on personal taste.
Don't try to go too cheap on tires, though

Is the 15" wheel a typo and you really mean 17" or is this for a different application?

If you're looking for 17" a 265/70/17 is very similar in size and a less expensive option, I can find them for about $100 locally.

If you know how to read the tire size, you can find a close substitute in size:
https://www.tirebuyer.com/education/...izes-and-types

and then go find your least expensive option searching by tire size and not by vehicle. Take note of your door sticker and confirm that the tire meets, at minimum, the spec of what your vehicle requires.

What truck do you have? 4wd or 2wd. 255/75r17 isn’t a stock size.

255/70r17 and 255/65r17 are though.

As stated 265/70r17 is a good replacement for 255/70r17. That size will offer the most options.

If you have 255/65r17, then 245/70r17 would be the best replament.
