Default Alright i wanna do it!

i wanna go outside and cut my cats outs, should i? i know its not legal. but in fl theres no test, i want that roar but if i cut them out i wont have pipes to replace them untill weekend. would it beok to do that with out pipes for a bit?

Do it and let us know how it sounds thinking about doing the same and swapping them back in for emissions every two years. It will throw codes but I do have a programmer to clear them. Anyone done this?

im thinking. but if i dont have any pieping to replace the cats would it be oky to leave them cut off right befor?

Zero reasons to do this. Your truck is going to sound like **** with dumping out the collectors.

Just leave the cats and cut out the muffler. It'll be fine without pipes but it will sound like crap if you cut out the cat and run open manifolds

Were you going to weld the pipe in place? I want to do the same thing but don't want to spend $200 on taking it to the shop, would rather just clamp them in place, but i'm not sure if that will work.
