I am looking at an '06 Lariat, and after reading and searching, this sight has got me concerned about the plugs... The truck has 66k miles and my question is, is there a way before buying this truck, to find out if the plugs have been changed to a single piece design without trying to take one out at the dealership? Thanks!

 

If it were me and I was buying the truck, Id have the dealership take every plug loose. Then you are assured that the plugs are not "welded into place. Or better yet if you are going to buy the truck tell them you will but only if they put the plugs in of your choice. If they want to sell the truck they will do that. I got my 2008 screw it started at 29K, then 4K rebate, then got them to drop 3K, then got them to add on the best running boards they had, then add cruise all for the 23K price..
