All pullies were effed up bad
Thats right all,all my pulleys were effed up really bad.How you might ask,me and my friend have no idea.
So all started when i thought my power steering pump was going.Well finally decided to do change her out when i heard a squealing noise.Well after looking closer at the pump it was not it.So then we look at the pulleys.Oh ya,they were the problem. All my pulleys were junk and were loose as well.My friend wondered how i made it back from my 4 day long trip and almost 600miles.It was so bad that even the tensioner assembly was junk, cracked and bolt melted half away. All the bearings in the old pulleys were seized. So after buying all new pulleys at $19.00 a pop,and the tensioner assembly for $38.00.All is finally well again and i can actually hear my exhaust again instead of the winding and squealing noise.
The worst was my tensioner idle pully. Was so loose that when i loosed the belt to change the pulley it fell right off(the belt was the only thing keeping her on it seems)I can only imagine what would have happend if it would have fell off while i was driving,i know, but dont want to think about it as i averted disaster somehow on my trip back.

I feel that they are trying to lessen the weight of these vehicles to such an extreme that that we are finding more plastic pulleys and crap under the hood. I saw a brand new Charger the other day with the engine running and it was chirping like a cage full of birds. You hear alot of noisy engines these days.
