Default Alaska to Florida

Started my drive from Anchorage, AK to Ft. Walton, FL on Monday. We've gone just over 1200 miles so far ( only about 3600 miles to go). The drive is beautiful and the F150 is doing awesome.

We are settling in Florida. Drove up to Alaska 5 years ago and now coming back home to Florida.

Thats an intense trip, good luck and take lots of pics along the way.

I drove from LA to Orlando in 2 1/2 days. Too fast to enjoy it. I'll do it again sometime though.

My family drove down to Maryland from Anchorage back in '96. Talk about fun! Did you take a ferry out of AK?

I've been planning this same trip with some buddies on motorcycles for a year now (Florida to Alaska, then back). Looks like February 2012 is the date we will be going.

Be safe, enjoy the trip, and continue posting pics of the trip along the way.

That's awesome! I'm very jealous of that trip. I 'd love to do it. What were you up there doing?
