Default Alarm ststem

I got my truck from a used dealer here in Kansas, there is an alarm system that's got a tracking devise on it. Idk how it works or if I should be worried? Anyone know? I believe it's ATV brand.

Some dealerships will do that if you are financing through them, so if you skip out on paying they can recover the vehicle. A buddy of mine bought a truck and he has bad credit so in order for them to sell it to him he had to agree to have that installed
