Hello
Its being happening more and more lately on my 2006. The factory alarm activates when the doors automatically lock when I start driving. After the doors lock, it honks once and the blue light under the dash starts flashing, indicating the alarm is on, then shortly after the horn will go off.

I was just hoping this might be something simple to fix, before I have to take it to the dealer.

Not yet, it's only getting worse. I'm going to take it to the dealer soon.

 

You could disable the auto lock feature and see if that fixes it. I disabled mine when I got the truck, I hate doors that lock by themselves.
