Default Airbag sensors?

So I have posted before on this but my airbag light is on and the dealer told me to fix it was gonna be like 800 bucks I'm 17 and don't have that kind of money to drop and I was wondering if I could do it myself and it would also help if someone could tell me where they r located the only thing the dealer told me was that it was a front one and they said they would only change all of them and that's why it was going to be so much money any help would be awesome thanks

I have a 2004 F150 with airbag code 42. story has it its the crash sensor . I did read to disconnect the neg side of battery for 5 mins prior to replacing it or kaboom....

Go to auto zone and get the codes read to see what code # you have.

http://www.f150online.com/forums/ele...code-42-a.html

Just be careful or kaboom! Big money of that happens! If you have that code stored, you will have to clear it too.

Don't know where others might be. Maybe he meant the harness also. Look at it and see if it looks like the description of the link.
