Airbag code 18 help
Hello,
I have a 5.4 2004 F150 (new body) Lariat 4x4 with a airbag light that is flashing code 1-8. I've tried to research it have have come up with it being some sort of issue with the passenger side airbag system. I keep reading that it is due to the bulb not coming on and the system picking that up, thus throwing the code. However, my "passenger airbag off" light DOES come on during the start-up check and then shuts off like normal. The only change is that it does not come back on if I put weight in the passenger seat (like a bag with closes) like it used to. I'm guessing that would indicate an issue with a weight sensor.??? Can anyone direct me from here?
