Default Air conditioner (diverter control?) problem

I was riding with my air conditioner working fine ... all of a sudden, it started blowing hot. This is a temperature controlled unit, 2008 Lariat. The extent of troubleshooting I've done is to set it for vent on a cool morning, temperature setting to 60F, still blows hot. I cycled the temperature setting between 60 and maximum, forget what maximum is, and there were no changes.

What controls the diverter flap? Might this just be a fuse or loose connection?

(I installed an aftermarket radio several months back; could I have left a wire loose which came off?)

THANKS!

Default There is the foam problem on the diverter flaps

Well discussed, foam comes off plastic flap, jams flap . There are videos covering this and shortcuts . Usually cutting into plastic assembly so as to avoid costly dash removal . One behind glove box another behind radio. As well as motor failure on these flaps . I don't have the links right now .

Yeah.. like Redfish said either the blend door is jammed up or the blend door actuator is bad.
