My truck gave me a whole mess of beeps the other day - looked it up, and it's apparently the air bag light on the dash. It wasn't working.

I took the dash apart, and looked at all the bulbs, and everything seemed fine...but the issue persisted...then somehow out of the blue, the light started working again - gave me a flash code of 42. So I checked hte impact sensor, and it looks a bit corroded - as does the harness.

I've ordered the sensor - but now the light has stopped working again. I checked the dashboard again, and shining a light through the holes for the replaceable lamps doesn't seem to illuminate the light - so I don't know how to fix the dash light.

Any ideas? The wiring connectors to the dash look fine.

Took it apart again, and the lamp base for one of the bulbs seems a bit wonky - doesn't sit firmly in the hole after being turned..any idea what those lamp holders are called?
