Default AIP COPs?

Found a set of 8 COPs on Ebay (right here). Has anyone ever heard of AIP Electronics? Are they decent?

Although limited, my experience has NOT been good with AIP COPS. Bought a single COP to have a spare for my GXP Northstar engine. I installed it to confirm it would be a good spare unit if I needed it in the future but... 9 days later and 700 miles the engine developed a missfire (P0304)! The AIP unit has gone stone dead, no spark, nothing!! After 4 days/emails later I'm still waiting for AIP to do the right thing... still counting. On ebay other of their customers have reported the units dead right out of the box! Everyone on the Ford-Truck forum is strictly reccomending OEM and I would say the same for the GM OEM ACDELCO . Search the internet AIP wanted $26 with 90 warranty for tne northstar unit and Amazon and others wanted $36 for an ACDELCO unit with 1 yr warranty. Read all their claims and you make the decision....
