That's just the factory black honeycomb. If you want to paint yours, I always had luck with Krylon Fusion paint on plastics. Clean, then wipe down with degreaser. Hit it with some adhesion promoter, then a couple light coats of satin black. If you want, you can clear coat.
I used the above method on my Ranger valance, flares, bedrails, and toolbox, and it held up great.
As for the rest of the truck, 2.5" HBS level, and 325/60/18 Terra Grappler G2s. The rest is below in my signature.

You can get very creative with these grills. I used expanded metal and the surround to do mine.
