Default Adding A Keyless Keypad

Quick question, I wanted to add a factory keyless keypad to my truck. My question is what are the ford parts and numbers needed? I've checked and the connections are already in the door so it looks like all I need to do is plug it in. Also are there any sites that I can get the parts?

I did this last year with my new (to me) truck. It seems if you have the keyless entry (key fobs), then that controller box is already present*, you would just need to get the code off of the box if you dont have the card that ford shoves in the owners manual. I got my keypad from one of those online junkyards for ~20 bucks, 25 w/ shipping. Because I couldnt find my card, I had an audio place get the code from behind the back seats and put the keypad on. Then I found my card, haha. Anyway, I'm kind of a wuss when it comes to tearing a vehicle I just got apart, but there were no special steps that would keep you from doing it yourself. If you ask the dealer, they will tell you it doesnt work like that and try to sell you the add-on keypad (my local one wanted 100+ dollars for this, and overall, it cost me about 60.

*I say seems because I do have the key fobs and that box was present in mine, as well as the wiring in the door already. I cannot speak for a truck that does not have keyless entry.

if it a 08 and up it needs to be programed and ford wont give out the as-built data code.so it will plug in but wont work
like the factory brake control.but they can be programed

Wink programming keyless keypad

I have a "New to me" 2004 F-150, it had a keypad added after market. when I bought it, the keypad battery was dead, I have since replaced the battery, and now I need to "re-program" or Program it to work with my locks

I dont have the original instructions (2nd owner), I do have both the original key fobs that work

can anyone send me the instructions to program it after a battery change
