There should not be any bending. As stated by others, just take off u bolts and center pin. Put new leaf on. And reverse. And the leafs go in order of shortest to longest I believe. My skyjacker leaf went on the bottom if I remember correctly. Pretty simple mod I think.

And I'm pretty sure u will need longer u bolts. My kit came with new hardware and u bolt were couple inches longer than OEM.

Yep, shortest on the bottom and longest on top. If you put it on the bottom you got the short leaf style. They also have a longer style like the Pro Comp AAL.

Yup, the 1.5" kit was all I needed. The other one which I think was like 3-4" lift. Way to much haha

What tools are essentially needed for the AAL install?

as for tools, impact, pair of c clamps, big floor jack, jack stands, a lift would of made the last side go in a lot easier, impact, 21mm socket, 15mm socket, 3/4 socket for new center bolts for pro comp kit. i used a torch to cut the old center bolts.

I agree with all that and i used an air chisel instead of the torch to cut out the old rusted center bolts. You can get away with using just hand tools, but the air tools make it less of a pain in the butt. If you use hand tools, you might want to double the amount of beer you plan on getting....haha.

edit...oh and the bigger the c-clamps the better. I used 3 of them too.

I too am adding a 2" pro comp add a leaf. It says it comes with the leafs and new center pins. So I'm assuming I will also need longer U bolts as well?
Just wanted to make sure before trying to install
