Default AC stops blowing intermittently

On a long voyage, we've discovered that our 2005 fx4 air seems to stop blowing cold air from the AC...it's cold, but it's just not blowing out with any velocity after a while. I was wondering if anyone knows the possible reason might be...

My wife says the 'cube' by her feet gets really cold and may drip condensation sometimes, but I'm not sure if it's just us overthinking it...

It's blowing cold air at first - just on long voyages...

Disclaimer ... I have no idea if this exists on the F150 or not.

I recently had a problem with my Honda Accord. The fan would occasionally stop blowing or sometimes would blow at the highest setting, even if only set on a mid-range fan speed (I think my Accord has like 8 blower fan speeds, compared to the (my) F150's 4-speeds).

I did some research and found out that there is a thermal resistor that controls the ability for the blower fan to blow at different speeds. I replaced this thermal resister and fixed the problem (it was located under the passenger-side dash, near the blower motor).

Basically, the fan is designed to run at full blast. To achieve the lower speeds, the thermal resistor chews up some of the amps so the fan will operate at a lower speed.

I am guessing this is how most heater blower fans operate, but I have no idea if the F150 includes some similar FRU or if you have to replace the entire fan blower motor.

Looks to me like there is...

...and if this is in a similar location, you'll be able to replace it right near the wife's feet!

Might be a low charge and the evap is freezing up. Or a faulty low pressure switch but would guess a low charge.
