Default Ac problem

My boss just bought an 06 king ranch F150 and his AC is acting weird. When his head lights come on his AC starts blowing hot. And when his truck is running and a door is opened the alert for the door being opens acts weird. It dings and the stops like it's cutting out and the dome lights flicker like it's shorting out. Has anyone heard or seen anything like this? I'm trying to help him out so any info will be great

Have the alternator and battery checked when the A/C is on it will create a higher load on the alternator so if the battery is low or alternator isn't working correctly it will cause some funny things to happen. Also check all the connections

Turns out it was a short in the gauge cluster between it and the AC controls. After replacing the gauge cluster it fixed all the problems
