Default AC Help

my AC had been making a loud ticking noise for awhile, yesterday it stopped blowing cold. how do i tell if its a clutch or compressor? Or should i just replace both of them even if just one went out?

I think it might be your blend door switch.

If you don't hear the compressor cycling often, it means you are low on refrigerant...
If it doesn't cycle at all it's probably no good, disconnected, or extremely low on refrigerant. I would get a bottle of R134A with leak detector, if it just suddenly stopped working.
