So I got in the truck this morning after letting the wife drive it for a couple days and the AC button will not turn off. It was raining so I could not tell if the compressor was turning on or off with the eng on. Does anybody know a test to see if the solenoid in the controls is bad? Any info is welcome... thanks.

the ac runs when you are in defog. The reason is to dehumidify the air and defog your windows. Doesn't really matter what temp you are set at. But I'm not sure about the AC button light being on in defog. Is the button physically stuck in the on position?
