Default ABS tone ring

I have an 07 F150 RWD with a 5.4 and I did something stupid. I was replacing a front wheel bearing and while pressing the old one out I failed to realize that the rotor had slipped off the supports on one side and was now resting on the tone ring. Needless to say I heard a pop and now I have a broken tone ring. Called every parts store and even called ford and they are not serviced separately, youhave to buy the whole rotor. I have the rotor with a brand new bearing. Does anyone out there know of a place where your located that may have one. I tried the junkyards near me and they have been stripped off all of the front end parts or does any one have one laying around they want to sell? Ive attached a picture the part # on is an after market one so dont pay any attention to it. Thanks in advance.

Tony

Have you tried the U-Pull yards in your area?

+1 for a wrecking yard
I can get one for 20-30 bucks with a good wheel bearing around here easily
In the old days you would press out the wheel lug studs first
Those wheel studs will push the tone ring off, then you can press or beat out the wheel bearing

I was able to press the old bearing and install the new one. It was my fault that I didn't triple check to make sure it hadn't slipped off the small edge. The press rocks a little bit (its not mine) so all the pressure was on that tone ring and when it popped I thought it was the initial sound of the bearing coming out. Well I was wrong. Im trying to avoid having to buy a new rotor being I just bought the new bearing. I have another junk yard to check tomorrow.

At the junkyard, just buy the tone ring for as little as possible
Take a big hammer to pound the lug nuts out
Maybe put a rag or cardboard between where the lug nuts will be hitting the tone ring

Thanks for the tip being the other came off super easy after cracking in half, I didn't think it would be that difficult to get one off. Damn sure wouldn't have thought I needed to beat the lugs out. Mini sledge hammer going in the truck now. Thx again!

I owned a truck like yours but have never done the job you are doing
I just know, all the ones I have worked on, the easy way to remove the tone ring is to beat or press the lug nuts out
I just slowly go around and walk the ring off evenly
It does not take much
The press fit is only a thousandth or three (not tight)
Good luck
