abs problem?

Default abs problem?
I have a 2005 f150 fx4, the A.B.S. light came on while my wife was driving and Im being told that when she puts it in drive it will not go, but will go in reverse. Any suggestions

Check to see if the sensors are malfunctiong first, and if not at fault check the abs system.
