Default ABS Module Problems

I recently had to have the ABS module in my 04 XLT replaced, apparently it was full of water and was causing the E-brake light to stay lit. After replacing it, my mechanic took it to a local dealership to have it reprogrammed and since then the ABS light and the E-brake light do not work. When the e-brake is engaged the light doesn't illuminate and the lights do not light when initially turnonh the key either. Is this due to something that went wrong during programming or is it unrelated? I have had no problems with the truck until recently, had to have the rear end rebuilt and the ABS module replaced as well as the 4WD solenoid.

take it back to your mechanic...he in turn should take it back to the dealer and have them fix it.

Here's a taste of how some so called pro-mechanics roll.... "if we cut the wires then the lights won't turn on, there all fixed" "that'll be $500" I'm sure that's not the case though.
