Default ABS Light when Towing?

Recentally i was towing a ton of deer feed on my trailer and my ABS light came on. Followed by my maintance required light. I have the edge, so i reviewed the code, and only 1 appears for the maintance required. Something about trottle body open- limited power? what does this even mean. It only happens when i tow stuff. ABS seems not to work when im towing either. Just break's no ABS.. i had a break job done a little while ago but i dont think that caused it. ANy predicitions?

Maybe your abs switch shorted out or something. Happened to mine and never even threw a code, but it melted the wire and connector. This was in my 98 though

Does it only happen while pulling one particular trailer or every trailer? How much air is in your tires and how much weight do you have in the bed or on the hitch?

Saw the same thing before and can tell you exactly the issue. Trailer has brakes I persume, trailer has lights I persume. To much draw on the battery and electrical system causes this to happen because the brakes on the trailer stop working thus tossing a code. Its basically a electrical glitch

actually no, the trailer doesnt have breaks or lights, so its not a power issue. It only does it when i have weight in the actual bed of my truck, not when towing. Possible thinking its a short in the connection. Once i take the load off an restart my truck abs light isnt on. SO i dont know, dont wanna waste money and have a shop check it out if its nothing
