Default ABS Control Module Issues

2008 F150 XLT 5.4 3V

ABS light and brake light on. Checked fluids, fuses, and grounds. Diagnosed at a shop as an ABS control module issue. Went to the junkyard and pulled an ABS control module from an identical 2008 F150 XLT 5.4, installed today, brake light is now off, but the ABS is still illuminated and flashing now. Was told it needs to be programmed to my specific vehicle, but both dealer and and another shop said it can't be done on the junkyard one. Is this true? I do still have the original ABS control module, so I tried to locate someone to repair it. First two shops I've called, one said $400 and the other doesn't repair this specific year F150 ABS module.

Anyone have a reputable and reasonably priced repair company they use for these ABS modules?

Module repair pros... found them on ebay.. you send in your ABS module and they repair it and send it back.. took like 4 days for turn around.. this way you will not need to reprogram anything. just went through this on my 08. I believe it was like $165 ... you will need to 2 day the module to them and they 2 day it back. you can drive your truck without the ABS installed. will not hurt a thing.

Well received the module back from Module Repair Pros today, installed, and now both lights are back on. Just to remind.

Junkyard ABS control module - ABS light on only and blinking.
Original ABS Control module - Both ABS light and brake light on solid.

Checked fluid, fuses, and grounds, not sure what's next. Any suggestions?

Update: I'm dumb, drove the car a mile and the lights immediately went off.
