Default ABS and Brake warning light

Hey guys, a few months ago in the mud my ABS and Brake lights on my dash came on, but soon went off after running my truck a few times, the odd time they would come back on and go away.. but now last week they both came on and are staying on.. im leaning towards wheel speed sensors being wore out, would this be right, or what do you guys think it could be?

Brake fluid level fine? And have you done a complete cleaning under the front end since you went muding? And does the truck brake fine? Other than hitting them too hard and locking them. I'd do a good cleaning of the tone ring sensors. With brake clean non-chlorinated. Top off brake fluid and see if that changes with of course driving around the block making sure you go above 22mph. Also disconnect the tone ring sensors and clean the terminals as well with electrical cleaner.
