So I just bought a used 2007 F150 FX4, with the tuscany FTX conversion, with 103k miles. 5.4, crew cab, 4x4, etc.
Only issue the previous owner informed me of was the brake and abs lights were on because it had a bad speed sensor or hub assembly.
I'm new to Fords, I've always owned GM and Jeep. I've seen a lot of threads relating to these lights and finding issues with the fuse #14 but everything works perfectly on mine, no blown fuses, etc. Im curious where I should first check and what I'd be looking for.
I've noticed it's typically the front DS speed sensor for the ABS light and a bad solder connection on the instrument panel board for the intermittently on brake light.
As @techrep said, have codes read to determine exact ABS issue.
