Default ABS

I have a 2005 V6 manual 2 wheel drive F150. I recently changed my front rotors and pads. I used a C Clamp on the calipers. I had read after the fact that I should have opened the bleeder valve when I compressed them, but it was already too late. I bled all four tires after I had finished. Now every time I press the brakes the ABS pulsates. It will do this until the third or so time I brake and then the ABS light comes on and the pulsating stops. Anybody have any suggestions on what I need to do to fix this problem?

I had a similar problem this year on my 2006 fx4. I fixed it by removing and cleaning the front wheel speed sensors.

I have also heard of some people having problems with the abs ring gear on replacement rotors. My 4wd has the speed sensor gear inside the front hubs with the sensor sticking in a small hole. Not sure if the 2wd has that type or the toothed ring inside the brake rotor.
