From what I've heard the cab is supposed to be 700-800 lbs lighter than previous years. Um new headlights are coming..possibly other small cosmetic touches.

They both are looking good.
I'd keep the '08 tho unless there is something wrong with it.
If it's not paid for, it's closer than the the new one.

Kit cars are usually riveted together, I'd assume it can be pretty durable.

Aluminum is quite the flexible metal though, time will tell how it goes.

True, most kit cars are weekend drivers though- and boats don't see as much abuse as some trucks I'd think hah

I didnt realize the body style was going to change in 2015.

This thing is sick.

If you're gonna upgrade to an aftermarket radio I'd say keep your old one.

If not then go ahead!

I think the new design if it comes out like that looks wierd.

I'm not saying anything is better rivets vs. welds. They both hold just as good as they need to. I'm just saying that its not an improvement and just something that they have done to probably make production costs lower.

PS, the Atlas is sick. I hope it replaces the Raptor so that the truck is really set off. For the record, I think any 04+ truck is timeless and will continue to look amazing. It would just be nice to have one that doesn't look like all the rest.
