Nice! What brand are they? I have 8" leaf springs from Atlas. BTW, post some pictures of your truck when you get a chance. It must look, or going to look, pretty sweet.

PS: No joke, on the heavy comment.

Got them built by carrier suspension iv seen them lift 1 ton trucks 18 inches with their leafs and one of the two trucks didnt have traction bars an the axle wrap on that beast was so minimal it blew my mind so i figure id be really safe with 8in leafs an their u bolt flip kit and not have any axle wrap at all! and yeah irish the UPS guy made me an a buddy get em out of the truck! ill post pics of my whole build here in a few weeks just waiting for the funds to buy the rest of the 8in BDS kit! and yes it is a single pin by design, the one pin sits in the rear pin hole of the axle seat, it is made this way so the U bolt flip kit will work an be as strong as possible! i am going for absolutely no axle wrap with 37x13.5x17! thinking i will still probably need a 4degree shim kit to get the correct pinion angle! its gonna be one hell of a build!

Interesting... I know my truck has practically no axle wrap, but that is do to the fact that there is no rear block in the back. Meaning there is almost nothing to go shifting around back there. Although I am wanting to get some traction bars, because the leaf springs make for a "different" ride (unexplainable, but soon enough you will be able to know the difference). Did you say you were only using the spring, and no factory block? The reason I didn't have to use my block was because these springs were built already with the correct pinion angle. Oh, and my springs came on a pallet (). Like this;

PS: Can't wait to see your truck when it's finished.

I wont use any block at all. And yeah they were built to have the correct pinion angle but you just never know until you through them on what itll actually look like! i was actually talking alot with atlas about them building mine but the deciding factor for me between company was the amount of leafs that were to be used! atlas only uses 6 leafs i believe and i got carrier to build mine with 9 leafs so hopefully still firm but not the roughest ride in the world!! and the reason i want the u bolt flip kit is not only because it would prevent what ever little axle wrap there was but it also means ubolts cant get snagged up on rocks... my truck isnt a street queen my any means i like crawling rather than mudding more of driver digression on pushing the limits on what you can accomplish in your truck... ahaha in mud its either you get stuck or pulled out... big whoop!

^Haha. At least you know they were safe. BTW, thanks for the info on the u-bolt thing. I wasn't quite sure what that was about, but it sounds like it would definitely be worth the money. Still can't wait to see the truck completed. What off-set will you be running with the BDS kit? I was told you must use a positive off-set (from BDS rep.), is that true?
