Just put repairs on a list of priorities and then work on them one by one in order when funds and time permit. Eventually you catch up. There are a lot of these trucks out there to grab parts off of as people move on to newer trucks. Knowledge on these trucks is deep so there are really no surprises anymore. My 2006 now has 310,000 on it running 5-30 and Champion plugs. Refrain from doing "mods" until you get the truck right first mechanically.
