I have an 07 5.4 and it seems like it whines alot like a supercharger whine but its not superchargerd lol. Does anyone elses have a wine to it or just me? Thanks

 

Does the sound change when turning the steer-wheel?

 

I have a wine also...and no ... has nothing to do with steering...unless it's the power steering pump bearing...gets louder as you mash the gas...could be an idler pully or something like that...truck will be at the dealer tommorrow for a State Inspection...going to have them troubleshoot the noise...I'll let you know ..

 

No just when driving it doesn't matter which way im going. I dont have and codes and have full power just pretty irritating and doesn't sound healthy.
