And had ya bought that awesome Dodge 1500 Laramie in 2008, you would be paying 349.30 for the 16 spark plug replacement every 30K miles at the dealer...

i dont know why people complain so much about the labor. it pays 3.5 hours big deal. use the lisle tool if one breaks pretty easy to use. there are tsbs about using penetrant and turning a quarter turn more penetrant half turn usually no problem. you need a 9 16s socket designed for the plug and to know what you are doing. a tech i work with tells me he likes to get the motor hot then tries to zip them out with a 3/8ths impact and hasnt had a problem. dont think i will try that though. u people forget it takes hundreds of dollars of tools to do this job correctly so you are not getting ripped off. any decent mechanic would not charge someone hole by hole anyhow. there is no reason to be scared of this job or sell your truck if you know what you are doing.
