Default 5.4 3v

It started out cylinder 2 missfire changed plugs swapped cops put on a new injector nothin changed compression checked the motor cylinder 2 and 3 failed so pulled the motor apart figured the valve lashers were bad so while we were down that far sent the heads out to get redone also got all new valve lashers new cam phasers timing chain timing chain tensinors and all new chain guides put the truck back together still had a bit of a rough idle but no codes drove it for a few days cylinder 1 and 2 lean figured a vacume leak then cylinder 5 started missfiring so checked for vaccume leaks nothing swapped cop from 5 to 6 still number 5 missfire swapped pugs from 5 to 6 number 5 missfire still the plug i pulled out of 5 was black and soaked with gas i just dont see how this could be internal this all happened bout 2 weeks after we got it back together i dont see how it could be anything internal i was gonna do a compression check again but am honestly tired of messing with this truck think im gonna take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it for 100 bucks any ideas guys

From what i can see it looks good no corrosion or anything unless a melted wire along the way

Pull it off and start your engine...see if it's producing spark.. From what you stated about the plug condition...sounds like no spark..

Cylinder number 5 builds no compression and smells like fuel looks like its coming apart again

Yeah i was reading around about it and people are saying the injectors are known for sticking open and eventually pushing all the oil out and destroying the cylinder wall if thats the case time for a short block

Trade the p.o.s. off and try something else. Can't wait till I got enough equity in mine to get rid of it. 5.4 is garbage. Wish I had done my homework before I bought mine. WONT make that mistake again. Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I feel for ya man. Wish you the best of luck.

Thanks man i apreceate it its my dads truck but still i hate to see someone that busts there *** for what they got and its a pile of garbage just payed off and not even 90 thousand miles on it i also have a 5.4 in mine ive got 96k on it and the waranty is about up so hopefully this crap dont start with mine
