My 4x4 light will come on when engaged, but my low range light will not illuminate. Any ideas?

 

I'm not being a smart a%# - but are you puting the transmission into neutral first. I do not know the year of your truck but on my 08 you must put the transmission in neutral then turn the **** to 4x4 low. This is a safety feature so you do not destroy the 4x4. The low light will not come on otherwise.

 

Make sure you are following what the manual says for properly engaging the 4Lo. The computer won't engage it otherwise.

 

yea for any electric shift transfer case you have to have the tranny in neutral and your foot on the brake before it will go into 4LO. Its not shift on the fly like 4HI is.
