Ok then, ASSHAT, I had the same issue when my transfer case motor went the following winter. Try changing that instead. 150-200 bucks and an hour of your time.

I meant that he could have the same issue and not have a 4LO problem if he isn't shifting into neutral (AND PUTTING HIS FOOT ON THE BRAKE TO BE ULTRA SPECIFIC FOR YOU). Didn't think anyone was stupid enough to let the truck roll free in neutral while trying to engage 4LO.

Lol...chill dude you need to read what you said...my trucked work in 4L ...and not to be ultra speciific but your not gonna get into 4 Lo the way you told him...it's all good...asshat...have not been called that before...sweet

If the 4x4 light doesn't come on it can still be the motor on t case. There is a plate on it that sends signal out to cluster for it shift point. I've replaced many vac solenoids too but truck will still light up 4x4
