4x4 floor shift knob replacement
Was wondering if anyone has ever taken the stock floor 4x4 shift **** off and replaced it with something else? Also how the heck does it come off? Is it all one piece into the transfer case? Any advice would be great!

It's similar to a **** on a manual although it's crazy hard to get off due to the glue they put on them from factory.
You can either 1: do like I done to mine and cut the rubber on the **** to get to the plastic piece and then take a pair of channel locks and take it off. It has grips at the top of the **** just for the occasion. Then wiggle and/or jerk to pull it off
2: try to take channel locks and wiggle and/or jerk it off if you wanna save the shift ****
P.s. it isn't a screw on you would have to get a **** that slides on top of the shift stick
