What causes a 4 wheel drive truck to sit higher besides the struts

Struts should never dictate the height of the truck but rather the springs.

This is what I was wondering, I have an '08 2wd with a leveling kit but love how a 4wd with a leveling kit looks. Wondering what I can do to make it look like that.

The strut on the 4X4 is longer as well.

4WD has blocks in the rear between the leaf packs and axle and taller coil springs in the front.

I love the rake of my 2WD, to me leveling kit is the biggest waste of money and labor, then again everyone is different.
