Just got the truck back from the mechanic. Somehow the hoses that go into the solenoid got switched (top one was supposed to be on bottom and vice versa). I'm pretty upset, although I did take the hoses off when trying to diagnose the problem I put them back on the same way they came off. Seems kind of funny that no one but me has been under the hood of it for many months and 4wd was working, then all of sudden magically the hoses get switched by the the hose fairy. Cost me $70 for them to reverse the hoses. Oh well it's fixed, live and learn I guess.
