4wd issue

Default 4wd issue

ok so truck started making a little noise in 2wd sounded like coming from hub area figured the actuators probally needed replaced now it grinds like hell in 2wd and if I put it in 4wd it locks up everything to a dead stop any ideas?

The initial problem was likely the actuator control solenoid. I'm not quite following what you mean by locking up in 4wd. It physically won't move in 4wd?

correct it will not move at all when in 4wd.

Yikes, it sounds like something's wrong in the IWE assemblies preventing the axle shafts from turning. If the truck is running (in park with the E-brake set tightly) can you go under and turn the axle shafts when its in 2WD? I'm suspecting not.
